WIP Beta released Better Crash Sounds (Completed) 2.5

I will see what I can do, but in Beamng, the skidding just creates particles, I would need to change game files to make it play a sound as well as add particles to skidding.

 

for V3 you should add in dirt rolling sounds. Currently the game only has the "airy" sound when rolling on asphalt / rock, but on anything else, it's completely silent. Adding in a gravely rolling sound for dirt and grass, an a more "wet" sound for mud would be perfect.

Also if possible make it muffled like how the current game does it

 

That almost woosh sound of the rubber on the asphalt, I hope its possible.

 

Great Suggestion, I'll do that this week, and try to make some more general sound improvements!

I don't know why, but this sound pack doesn't work. Yes, I know how to install mods, and yours is listed in the game.

 

Is it just not playing the sounds? I may have to release another patch soon if thats the case.

 

Me too. Installed correctly. Game sees it, but no sound. Looks great though!

 

What's weird is after that, I installed some three vehicle mods, and the main vehicle wouldn't load. I removed your mod, and the three others, and the default pickup truck still wouldn't load. I had to deactivate a lot of old mods that I wasn't using anyways to get it running again.

 

VERY IMPORTANT, if you are having problems with the mod, press ctrl+l, which reloads the games lua. If that doesn't work, then restart the game. Make sure you dont have any other sound mods that conflict with mine. I'm working on a fix which should be released tomorrow!

Done anything new?.

 

Right now I'm working on a script that will read custom sounds, such as mud rolling. It's going to take a while though, so please be patient. Any bugs I should know about before v3?

 

I haven't tested this thing out, I'll download it when I come back!, I'll let you know when there's some bugs. I can make a better video and a tutorial video on how to download and import it!. If you mind

I know I haven't posted on here in a while, but i'm not going to put any new sounds into this mod. I'm going to release a separate mod that contains a revamp of almost all sounds in the game. This does not include metal scraping sounds, I will put that in this mod.

 

This is a very cool mod and Now I have better sounds thank you creator.
