Interior Mapping

    The town in East Coast USA looks rather dead with the gray windows. Trackmania Lagoon makes good use of this technique and it looks great on tall buildings.

    Is interior mapping planned?

    I don't know about having it detailed, but it would be nice. All it needs is the ceiling and walls for the higher floors, and better detailing on the lower floors. It would only need to be rooms you could see from the window.

    The detail shouldn't be a problem, though. Remember, as the picture in my post shows, interior mapping uses pictures, not 3D models. It's like an inverted cubemap.

    Hot damn the game needs this. I was looking at the west coast screenshots, and couldn't get over how they just used flat textures for the windows.


    It almost looks like something out of midtown madness
