NOTICE: I'm not going to do any work on this mod until summer of 2018 because of school =( I may do little work at a time, but I also need to improve on my modding . so this is on hold till next summer there may be small updates and if i find time i may try to work on this Hello today I decided to make a mod one and for all =). JBEAM HELP NEEDED, I am literally clueless when it comes to work with jbeam so either someone would have to teach me or do it for me, I would rather not do it being lazy but it would be great to know so i could continue modding in the future. 8/3/2017 Yes it does not look like a McLaren right now Part 2 Now its starting to look more like a McLaren 8/19/2017 I can't really 3d model well so I have found a model to use, this mod will no longer be known as the McLaren 650 s , It will be the Mclaren MP4 12C here are some pics of the model. 8/21/2017 An Eclipse happened today! What happened on the mo today: Got it ingame thanks to @MaxGamer1995
Maybe it would be a good idea to hold off making a thread until you finish the tutorial. It takes a lot more than just modeling to make a mod, which has held up quite a few other promising threads
Well it's looking good. But I also think you should hold off on the thread. I'm sure all the 12 year olds that are pissed off because the cars don't handle like GTA V are losing it waiting for this mod that may or may not work. Especially if you're still on the tutorial.
It is just a modeling tutorial, in fact I understand It very well so i should not have much trouble. But I may just try to find a 3d model(If I can't complete this one) I am looking at the content creation wiki alot
I wish you the best in your ventures and hope you become amazing at 3d modeling. However, you don't have to make a thread just because you're piecing some polys together. These threads are mainly (in theory) reserved for products with a bit more traction; as stated, it's preferred that you have something more than just a fender or some basic model, maybe even something in-game. I urge you to continue working on this, but people around here hate threads that dont go anywhere (and for good reason). Best of luck to ya!
True --- Post updated --- For everyone watching this mod, I will not be on my computer for a week starting today.
If you want, ask permission for the author of this mod: http://vstanced.com/page.php?id=1695&d=15 Its relatively easy to import a SLRR mesh to blender
If you're not motivated, that's you. You're not going to bate us into saying, "keep it on your PC, make the mod!" Instead I will just say it's your choice. The more or less of us will not care.
Its nothing with motivation, I had a camp that week, This is one of my side projects so progress will be kind of slow anyway
Oops, I read that wrong. But still, maybe wait before you open a forum about a really neato car going into BeamNG.drive.
OKI, I found a completed model, it is not the exact car but I'm fine with changing it up a bit, lets see if it works
yes, and it opens in blender i have some pictures. --- Post updated --- mclaren mp4 12c is what it is
Doesnt look quite to the 650s but is still a aweasome car, good luck on your project! (if you need help, pm me and i will try help you )
Does anyone want to help me with jbeam or at least get it in game so I can keep working with it. (I will add you to a group chat if you want to help)
If I remember rightly there was a MP4-12C around a while back. "Russian" in quality but mostly there.Had an interesting characteristic of the engine squeezing when the throttle was applied.
