So...what things you don't like about this game.

I agree I wish there was a way to tell the Ai to A. be sensible (normal driving) reckless (speed first, safety later) and then just drunk...it speaks for it's self. I also know that people like you make videos. I could imagine it would be much easier for you if the Ai would stay in it's assigned lane!

 

You can change the risk and if you want them to use a split road, but you can't save the AI settings when resetting the car so it's super annoying. I really want that to be an option, to save the risk and speed and split lane options for AI when resetting the car.

It would be so much nicer.

That there are no online or local multiplayer modes outside of scenarios.

 

Don't know if anyone has mentioned this yet, but I really dislike how slow and unresponsive the HUD is, including the car selection and customization menus.

 

Ai, number of cars and maps, carrier mode, basic multiplayer, various glitches, sounds... all of these are "temporary issues", it is obvious that the devs won't let the 1.0 come out without these problems fixed.

What is really worrying in my opinion is the Torque 3d engine limitations. Maybe the devs will make the graphics look less "outdated" with a lot of work, but a huge negative point to me is the lack of environment interactions (destruction, terrain deformation etc). This is very frustrating and contributes in making the game feel "static" and a bit lifeless, despite the absolutely gorgeous cars physics. I would be very surprised to see this feature appear in BeamNG. Probably won't happen.

 

For me it just seems like the graphics for the covet are a little outdated.

 

Pause the game before doing into the menus. Really speeds things up.

As for stuff I don't like, there's nothing that won't be fixed one day.

Random Physics crash

 

That is extremely untrue, ALL spoilers have an impact on weight, and downforce... how do you think people have made planes... because of beamngs awesome aerodynamics

 

I like the selection of random affordable cars and the physics, and not like some racing games with unreal physics and expensive stupid cars.

 

1. I hate how there's only one Civetta.
2. All the vehicles (except the Covet) have the same crappy sound.
3. You can't remove the glass from the doors (What were they thinking?).
4. There's a glitch where my game sometimes won't start in full-screen.
5. Takes an eternity for an update to come (Yes, they are trying to make everything perfect).

 

Sounds are being worked on. The "crappy" sounds are just a placeholder V8 sound.

 

1. Grand Marshal doesnt handle like a boat enough.
2. (not about the game itself, but the web site) The fact that there is a group for a lego game, i mean this is an website for an PHYSICS GAME DEMONSTRATING CAR DAMAGE ,not a lego game.
3. Interior parts (radios, etc.) arent removable.
4. Not enough hubcaps.

 

-cars don't get dirty
-sounds are bland and it's very complicated to make new sounds and still the custom sounds sound plastic
-gearshift doesen't move when shifting
-ui is very very slow
-ai is pretty dumb
-replay crashes when recording more than 1 vehicle
-trees don't break (alot to ask but whenever you hit a tree in east cost usa going over 100, the crash looks nasty ;c)
-water is pretty much static
that's pretty much it.

(these aren't beamng's fault)
-whenever you look for mods in the internet you get TRASH OUTDATED PIECES OF SHIT, which are STOLEN AS WELL, FUCK.

Windshield Wipers don't work...

Can't individually open doors. (Breaking them open with the node grabber works)

Honestly the only problem i currently have, unless the last fix fixed it, is when i play with any off roading, sometimes the respawn gets integrated with the local rocks or trees. Forcing me to reset the map, because no matter what i do, it won't release. I got really no other problems, other than maybe, it would be cool to do off roading with friends on the map
