Hey guys Im trying to export a track from Revolt game,i find one plugin to export the track to blender, but,is it,i cant export the track to beam ng,idk how to use blender and that isnt helpful. idk if its possible to export one for another, but,if someone can teach me,i will be greatful. things could be helpful: https://www.4shared.com/rar/RrGZtOh3ca/garden1.html (the track with all textures and stuff) http://z3.invisionfree.com/Our_ReVolt_Pub/index.php?showtopic=2296&view=getnewpost (revolt export plugin) tuto talking about revolt track files : http://learn.re-volt.io/tracks-blender/track-files (The actually track,i cant export that,i need to add some floor or another thing?) (english isnt my main language, sry if i have mispelled something)
That's quite a critical point. If you intend to use Blender, you'd need to need the basics at least. You can export your model in 'DAE (COLLADA)' format from the File > Export menu.
ok,i will im trying to do things yet,i have tried to export the dae like you told me to do,but, when i open beam ng and try to put my object in the level... well, doesnt appears nothing in revolt, have two files with the same object, .w = to geometry and data and .ncp = to collision and surface data,i have tried to make a .dae with both, but still the same blank space haha
Are you sure the object is just 'under' the terrain? Because it looks like so. In that case just move it up. If it's actually invisible, make sure you have at least a material assigned to the mesh. No materials = Invisible.
FINALLY! after much struggling,i figured out ,i have done wrong the hierarchy, but i get it now --- Post updated --- FINALLY! after much struggling,i figured out ,i have done wrong the hierarchy, but i get it now
Hey! I have this in blender, fully of color and life, but, when see this map in beamng... idk how to put the textures in material editor and type the correct things in material.cs,so... help (pls?)
Blender materials are not the same as game-engine material. You need to set up them separately, by using the 'Material' editor. Note: I suggest to place your level in the game's installation folder for now, if it isn't. The editor sometimes have problems if you select a file that isn't in there (for example in Documents/BeamNG.Drive)
Haha! i have noticed this,i really want to export all tracks from revolt to beamng,if you want to be part of this project or just help me,i will be greatful --- Post updated --- Just a question, the files in material editor, need to be in this format? colormap : texture.bmp normalmap : texture_n.dds Detailmap : texture_d.dds
