Thanks for the idea. I am planing to have a satellite dish/antenna on the roof. Would it be realistic to have one on the roof and the ladder? I guess I could make it an option.

 

That's great you were considering it! Shows you're going for authenticity and that's what I love, anyways keep it an option man everyone loves options and the ability to customize. Btw you are doing a fantastic job I've looked through the thread and I'm blown away.

Most RV's tend to use an antenna like this one that can be raised and lowered.

Having the antenna like that allows it to be stored safely for when the RV is moving. The few times I've seen campers with an actual dish, the dish wasn't attached and was a smaller, portable one.

The way you have the dish mounted does look like a pretty good spot though, so it doesn't really matter.

 

Thanks for the input. I am planning on having a dedicated roof antenna similar to the one you showed. The dish I just made in my last post is just a separate option.

 

Guess what, I think I just figured out how to add skin support! I'll play around with it later today, and try to upload a UV map sometime soon.

Can you add a car hauler hitch piece at the back? doesnt have to work perfect but gets the job done! You are so dedicated to this its awesome! Or could be a seperate trailer with 2 wheels and a ramp? This is much to ask but please add a tow hitch option.

Towing attachment - Yes, but as a future addition.

I have a question about that, is there a possibility that the spare cover will have some type of UV too? IMO it'd be fun to have different designs on it.

I'm currently working on adding skin support. I'd be surprised if someone doesn't make a rusty/beater skin within the first 5 minutes of me uploading the UV map. If not, I'm sure that could easily be arranged.

Leave an opening on one side, put kitchen stuff there, an explosive propane tank or two...

Maybe. For now I'm going to focus on the main RV before adding different versions. When this is released, I will be perfectly fine with others creating mods that build of of the RV or add content to it (new skins, different interiors, new accessories, etc...). Does the Fast Food Vans mod not count as a food truck?

But they seem to only have roof accessories...
It'd be cool to have a proper opening on the side to tend to costumers
(perhaps with functional side-lid that doubles as shade)

And all the interior stuff, specially as that's a nice excuse to make it explosive

If i could do it i'd sure be happy to add a few unexpected interior designs to it
