Outdated Better Sounds Mod [5.1.1] works with 0.18.0.1

So quick question, I haven't checked on this thread in a while, how do the other addons that B727 work? can they just be added, or what. I don't know if he consulted you about his addons, but are they compatible?

 

His addon replace the base files. But i changed my system so it work but it's the worst way to do it.
If you want to use his addon do this:

but use his sounds files and replace the siren.ogg and not the blinkers.

I don't know where your beamng is installed.. Just find where he is installed

 

BeamNG.Drie is installed on Destkop

 

So put the lua folder in your beamng drive installation folder

No, now I have that same error as everyone else. I have the drag and drop in mod folder in the mods folder along with the file sirenmod. The drag and drop in the BeamNG install folder is in the correct place too. I have deactivated all of my mods, yet still get the same error. I checked, and as of my knowledge there are no old copies of the mod installed in the game folder. Then, once I deactivate the mods, it works again.

You can do it in the main file of the game but not for 1 car, if you do it it's for all cars :/

So I found out that you put the sirenmod folder inside the mods folder which is wonky af. It works i guess
