Community terrains and vehicles not working.

I've made several attempts to get community addon terrains and vehicles to work. However, I continuously get errors such as *.dae can't be loaded and then the terrain/level appears empty. Also, addon vehicles will load without error, but they will load invisible and there will be no controls. I've tried updating, by changing the name of update.exe.old to update.exe, but I still get the same issue. Any ideas on what's causing this? I did try scanning the bug report forum to see if anyone else had reported this, but I didn't see anything. Either it's not there or I just missed over it.

 

Chances are you have not installed them correctly

 

So, I realized what I did wrong. Okay. Thanks, I indeed was installing them incorrectly. Thanks for the heads up.

 

Hi all.

I have a similar problem.
LOTS of the community created cars work great for me. The maps however... not so much.
I install the into the correct folder (I am sure of that, as some work fine), but on a bunch of them, when I want to start the game it just crashes and prompts a message to send a crash notification to the developer.
Anybody else have experienced this?

Everyone having problems, try using cleanup (.bat file located at your games folder).

 

specs? some community made maps have been known to not work correctly on certain gpu's

like, what's your processor/cpu, Graphics Card/gpu, How much ram, Operating System, that kind of thing (black old and dusty, while can be consider'd specs, aren't the kind i'm talking about)
