    Why it's a pain?

    It's pretty easy.
Just select the axis you want to move your objects on, and drag it.
If you are moving a vehicle, you may want to pause the physics first.

We have the nodegrabber, are you looking to move buildings or cars? The nodegrabber can move cars and props, but it cannot move buildings. An in game building mover would be completely unnecessary, as we already have the world editor, and the only reason you would want to move buildings is when you create terrains, which is what the world editor is for.

i mean objects like the ramp you can select in the car menu or those poles that can lift from the ground or the explosive barrels , i think a option to place the objects using the numpad for example would be perfect example:

    2,4,6,8 for moving it around
7 and 9 to rotate it
and 1 and 3 to lower or raise the obect.

Shift+c , move to the location you want and press F7. Works for me perfectly.

Just make sure to pause the physics if you want to move one of the 'dynamic' objects via the editor, so that you can move it easily.
Then you can adjust position and rotation pretty easily, it should be pretty straight-forward.

But the editor takes 2 minutes to open. It's a pain when it takes awhile for the editor to pop up and it would be nice to have controls to control objects.

Looks like a problem on your end.
Takes barely 2 seconds here, and I'm not using any different version than yours.
On the other side, the next update should improve further the loading times on the editor.
