I can't help you but I can give you an idea. How about converting the model to a format Blender could work because there's only Blender to JBeam converter. It's the only way to make your JBeam work. Downsides: You must to install Blender again...
That's what I did before, using an LOD colission mesh made to suit the model, and then convert it to a jbeam with Blender. Sadly, the resulting jbeam was terrible, so I have since decided it would be easier and better to modify official jbeams to suit my model.
This is lovely! i love 70´s japanese cars and this one is one of my favorites! keep up the work and please dont give up! i think is about time one of the japanese car mod gets finished my only suggestion is more polys (you can add more with blender and with 3ds max)
Nice, this is still going, that was a save, can't wait to see if this ever gets released ever. good luck
Quick update: Botched the mesh onto a covet jbeam and moved the wheels about. Sits nicely, but handles like crap Probably because I took a huge chunk out of the track, this thing is tiny! Next step will be to shape the nodes, and add proper suspension^^
Update 2: Sorted out the basic jbeam shape and suspension setup, the handling is looking very promising Currently working on adding parts, then I'll fine tune the jbeam and performance figures!
It's Tsukuba Circuit. Yotaak made it years ago, still works though I like the circuit layout, and it runs on my turd of a PC, so I use it for mod development You can get it here, keep in mind the zip format is outdated.
That said, I haven't started modeling it at all yet, though I have a mental image of how it's going to look. In the mean time, Stay Tuned™
