283hp in a MINIVAN??? Sheesh, I had 185hp in my 98 Trans-Sport and thought it was a lot. That's nuts. Why do we need this much? EDIT: No, really, this isn't a complaint about what you're making, surely in the game this is great, but IRL, I mean, most of the sedans/vans I've had were 130~165hp, one was 210 HP in an import van and it was quick but pigged the gas. All this progress of fuel efficiency IRL, and wasted on greedy power-plants like a 283hp minivan engine. Any more power and a rear-wheel drive config would make it do a wheelie.
Well this minivan is based off a Chrysler/Dodge van so Gavril would make more sense. IMO anyways. --- Post updated --- Well you are mostly correct, however this is a 2010-2017 van hes making and they range between 175-250 for the 2010 and up to 283 for 2017 models. Also its 3 freaking tons or 6,050lbs (TBH did not expect that much), so it needs that power.
put simply: No EDIT: oops sorry Flippi, I have no idea about that one. thought you were talking about the 2010-2017 van in the works. My bad Also is there any planned release for a beta or whatnot for the van? Not asking for a link just a date.(if you can, if not I understand fully so no worries)
Like @RedRoosterFarm said, 283 hp is adequate. You do need it when your van is 4700 lbs, and you have a family of 6 people, and 3 of them weigh 160 lbs +. It still only does 0-60 in 7.5 seconds. Oh, and it's FWD only Sure, theres a lot of wheelspin, but even with the old 251 hp 4.0L, on the highway, it seriously hauls tha mail. These things pull like crazy. And that's an awesome thing to have on tap.
It still needs a steering wheel and some other little things, but other than that the interior is done.
Dude! This thing will look so cool when I run it around utah as fast as I can. Plus, I hop the jbeam works when I crash it. Other than that, thanks for making something beamng won't expect.
Started with an ETK 800 jbeam in 0.7. I found that that was the closest fit to this vehicle with relation to unibody setup. Quite a bit different now from what I began with... For instance the Car-top carrier is a fully custom jbeam and mesh based off of one I have at home IRL.
