I have already bought a truck, so any more suggestions are pointless. I appreciate everyone's input though.
While it is good that you wish to help other forum users, it is generally frowned upon if by doing so you; A: bump an old and obsolete thread B: stray off the topic of the thread.
My grandpa bought an '03 Chevrolet Silverado to drive around. After driving it for two years he didn't really drive it anymore. Five years later (A few months ago), my grandpa gave the truck to my brother, who is now driving. It still ran and had only a few problems to it, but still worked like a charm after sitting for five years straight.
