im buying a car in about 5 years it has to be under 5 years old and safe and fast and under $2000 and my mom is making me get a civic but i hate her so im not gonna buy a civic

Maybe it's a regional thing. I typed in Monte Carlo into craigslist and I got tons of results. The first was less than $1000. It was mint.

get a 90s ford truck that has been taken car of. it should have a CD and cassette player, a functioning AC and Heater, power seats, power locks, power windows and power mirrors.

Maybe a Peugeot 206 GTi , Nissan Pulsar GTi , Ford Focus 2.0 , or some sort of 00's SUV

 

Cars may depreciate quickly, but not that quick. If you really want a cheap car buy a Ford hatchback or a Tata, that brand sells the cheapest car in production, only $2,000 for the cheapest car they sell. Only it is terribly slow and only found in Asia I think so just go with a Ford.
