As a 'Seattlite' this is devastating. I don't know what the fuck is going on with this world. Soundgarden: The soundtrack to so many good times in life for me and many of my family and friends. No doubt Mr. Cornell had his reasons. I am glad we had this awesome story to experience. R.I.P buddy and thanks for the memories.
I was listening to Superunknown before going to bed. I woke up this morning checked the news and saw that Cornell died It's crazy I love 90s rock and Soundgarden is no exception A legend, a pioneer, a great musician is gone may he R.I.P.
I'm listening to Superunknown now. I loved Soundgarden; thought they deserved more attention as opposed to Nirvana. Chris was a tremendous vocalist and I loosely paid attention to his solo work over the years, and the TotD reunions and any Soundgarden news that came out. I was worried for his health because he's not aged well over the years and (I thought) appeared fragile. Eddie Vedder's the only major Grunge frontman left. Can't imagine how he feels after losing so many close friends. It's a very sad day for everyone... Say Hello 2 Heaven, Chris.
