You can always spawn more and move them with the terrain editor. I only added a few for fear that it would lag.
That's strange. Try clearing the cache, if that doesn't work, then trying reinstalling the track. I hope this helps because I don't have any other ideas.

Holy CPU death.... Loaded and I have never had a single map this small kill my CPU so quickly, went from 6% average to 99% and held. Actually lagged my entire PC. It may only be an i5-4460 but it has never lagged that hard.
Same for me with my I7-6500U laptop with integrated graphics, runs fine with 2-3 legrans and the monster truck but anymore and it kills the frame rate so you may have to look into making some basic cars so that it doesn't absolutely kill the average persons framerate.
You could maybe remove suspension (so wheels) from the Legrans,it help a lot ! I win 40% fps in my case
would removing everything other than body panels make the FPS better? didn't have any issues on the map personally except for the "YOU SHALL NOT PASS!" water.
I made a few minor changes to the ramps (improved angles for bigger air) and also stripped more parts off the cars for hopefully better performance. I don't know what the increase in fps might be, but it should definitely help those of you who are struggling with the cars on the track. This will be available once the update is approved. Oh, and I also changed the lonely car in the corner for a van. Much more fun to crush . Thanks to everyone for the support on this project. It seems like a lot of people really enjoy it!

My CPU was lagging heavily to the point where the HUD was freezing and the car was not responding. none of the menus either. No programs running in the background, using an Intel Core i7 processor. Thanks for the map, and I even hold little dirt track races in derby cars, so it's really fun. But the lag makes it really hard to play sometimes. If you could work on the lag, then this would be in my top 5 favorite maps. thanks!
Having the cars on the track should definitely impact the performance of your game, no doubt about that. Unfortunately, due to the nature of how the game works, you have to have a pretty decent computer to run the track with the cars on it. If you can get to the terrain editor to remove the cars, you shouldn't have a problem running the track. I'm curious, what kind of i7 do you have? Also, do you have a graphics card? I have an i7 6700k with a GTX 960, not the most powerful card ever, but I have no problem running the track with the cars on it at high settings at over 60 fps.
Ok I do have a graphics card, but I'm not sure what kind it is. The CPU is a relatively new Dell with Windows 10 (less than 2 years old). But yea I understand that you've streamlined the map. I appreciate it. It eventually runs smoothly, but it takes about 3-4 minutes until the processor "catches up", I guess.
