i was thinking about making some suspension stuff paintable too, is that something you guys would like?
Make sure the model doesn't have any parts of it hidden and also make sure there isnt any position offset on the model in blender. Of course make sure the material works because it may be there, but the material isn't applied in the right spot, making it invisible. You have to either define an exhaust node or ehxuast pipe nodes for the accurate exhaust calculation (like it coming out somewhere else if you break one end off. If you don't intend having a multi-part exhuast one node will work fine)
Hah, I got sick of breaking the front axles with the 44's and I don't know squat about modding, so I just made a 2WD 'Tractor' with no rear springs at all and 31's up front. Great mod so far! Any idea why one hub is white?
You should download the current version, i fixed the axles breaking a few days ago, download is on the first post. i see you have the v0.5 in that video. a lot of things changed since then
Where are all of the things mentioned on the complete and working list? I cannot find them in the parts menu or the mod files themselves.
some are already in the current version but most are for the update tomorrow. in the latest version available under the first post you can find the 44 inch tires, a few bumpers, fenders, bodies, frames and rollcages, the 6 inch lift suspension and the WIP rockwell setup, and a lot more. tomorrow's update will include the semi (t series) engine with custom sound, custom turbo, hood exhaust, fully adjustable dana 80 axles with extended wheelbase, a lot of engines, transmissions and transfer cases, new tires, new wider wheels, and other stuff that i cant remember right now, will check later. what part exactly you can't find?
I really wanted to try out the paddle tires and the Barstow engine to make a sand dragger, in addition to the ute frame, T-Series engine, and tractor tires. And the configs.
yup, those will be in the update tomorrow. i know i put those in the "complete" list, i update the post when i get stuff done, not when i release it, sorry about the misunderstanding
I kind of figured that, but I just wanted to check. Thanks for replying and clearing that up. I really want the sand tires so that I can have something like the Hondune DB-H Buggy. It is an older mod, but works like a charm.
Do we have a idea of when the Lights will be added? Is it also possible to have a version that isn't absurdly bright? Or maybe has a dim setting sort of like a low beam and a high beam setting
Since the twin blower engine is going to need a frame built around it instead of in it, why don't you try a smaller, single-blower V6?
Isn't it just a matter of adding glowgroups or whatever they're called? ( Sorry I'm not a modder so I wouldn't really know)
Yes it is, but i've never worked with those. I would have to see how headlights work and i could probably figure it out --- Post updated --- There's an option in blender called scaling, you can take a skyscraper and make it the size of a penny if you want. I won't try the single blower v6, the dual blower v8 will come for sure but will be scaled down a bit to fit properly. Not tomorrow though, but maybe next friday --- Post updated --- Bigger tires will come, for now it has some 44's and i might go up to 50 if i can figure out how to make those fit
