curious what exactlyyou mean, like the bodies from the old mod won't return at all or they will be redone before they return? because no f150 or panel van would kind of suck
I've looked through this form but cant seem to find an answer. i can't seem to get the rear steer to work. when i push g and h nothing happens. when i steer with just the arrows or analog stick then the rear steer turns with the front. I wish i could do it separately though.
When you select your truck, go into the parts menu (default binding is ctrl-w) and select the drop-down menu for Chassis, then Rear Suspension, then click on the options for Rear Steering, and select "Independent Rear Steering". Keep in mind that you will need to do this everytime you spawn a new truck. I hope this helps you!
Or just save it as a new config, go to the right-most tab in the parts menu and give it a name, and save. You can load it from the same spot each time, or there is an option somewhere that allows user created configs to show up in the vehicle selector.
I got it to work! The issue I am having now is when I try to switch the steering to buttons on the shift (g27) it wont seem to work. The "G""H" still do though.
Oh yeah, you can do that too. I usually forget haha --- Post updated --- If I understand what F2YS said (I can't remember if it was this thread or the thread for the original monster truck), vehicle-specific commands are not available yet. What you can do is map your "G" function to whatever button on the wheel you want, then do the same for the "H" function.
Sorry for being "mean" but could you maybe read before you ask? these questions have been asked a few times already. The other bodies won't be making a return anytime soon, so Max-D and Grave Digger probably won't for a while, but all we can do is hope.
I stand behind that. If someone makes a fire dept variant, can you send the file to me? Im a fire fighter myself, and i would really love to see what the body design will be.
I will see what I can come up with for a Fire Dept themed paint. For the first release of my pack, it will include (if i remember correctly) 9 new originial paints by me and some fellow members of the forum. It will more than likely be released later today once I get home. I will make one final adjustment, make sure everything works and then type up the description for it and all that jazz.
I'll release a small update tomorrow. I suggest you wait one more day in order to test the skinpack on the latest version of the mod.
I have the latest version, and the original re release of the mod. But, I thank everyone for trying to make a fire dept theme possible. will the body be breakable from now with new paints?
