getting "failed to create resource (is the file missing?): vehicles/common/trim_n.dds

    im getting this problem every once in a while on version 0.8 i was never getting this problem before the update

    Sounds like a broken installation. Please verify local content via steam. That should replace files that downloaded incorrectly.

    I have the same problem. I cleared the cache, reinstalled the game, and it didn't work.

    The 'failed to create resource (is the file missing?): vehicles/common/trim_n.dds' is caused by a bunch of old mods.

    In particular the Javielucho Mad and Taxi Expansion Pack
    To solve the issue you need to press Clear Cache and Safe Mode in the game's launcher in this exact order.
    Then you need to find the mod doing this and remove it (Or see if there is an updated, fixed versions of them available).

    I can't find it. I have 128 mods, but when i put the 70th mod in the game, the error returns. Maybe because too much mods? I have this problem since a few months.

    Read my post above you.

    It's some mod definitively.
    We know older versions of those I mention cause this, there may be more.
    You need to go through your 128 mods, find which and remove it.

    And you will probably have to press 'Clear Cache' again to fix it.

    YES! I finally found it! Thanks, it was the Aleferna's Expansion, and the Taxi Expasion pack.
