If it was me, I'd do that almost last, before making configs. Most modelling you do will screw up the UV maps, so I would wait so I didn't have to redo it again.
What about Bandicam? If I want to use my phone to film it are you going to sue me? Can't you patiently wait (un)like the others?
The mod is nowhere near death, D-Troxx keeps posting pictures of progress every now and then in general discussion/developement screens thread Post #11335 https://www.beamng.com/threads/deve...-a-picture-or-contributing-post.1575/page-567
Most of the time i just want to post pictures, so i post them in dev screens . And when i want to write an update or answer your quetions i will do it here. And since i made a reasonable amount of progress i will post a list of whats done and what still needs to be done this weekend.
As promised, an update on this thread. Past week I have been working on this mod again, and made a good amount of progress. -The front has been fully jbeamed (radiator, radiator support, grille, headlights, signals). -The Coupe body is almost finished. glass, doors and interior parts are finished for the body type and also the jbeam is finished. only thing left is fixing some textures and UV's. -A convertible body has been added to the list of selectible body's. -A Sedan body with a chopped roof has been added to the list of selectible body's. -ofcourse some minor tweaks and changes. -Red headlights
hmmm progress :3 All 5 body's are finished and the wheels are finished too. Whats left is making the configs, maybe a wheely bar and some minor fixes. yay *confetti*. The wheels can be used on other cars too when this mod is released.
Can't wait to try it out. Maybe one day can you make the engine compatible with other cars? Otherwise great work.
Hello D-troxx and AlexMD, First of all, I don't mean to push you into rushing something, or to ask for a release, but I was wondering if work was still done on the moonhawk carrier, because I like the look and the idea of it very much. I hope that progress is being made behind the scenes, or that I just can't search in the development screenshots, but if it is abandoned, I respect that and hope that you (AlexMD) still had a great time while working on the mod. I wish you good luck with futher modding, Best regards, Zeilscout.
Unfortunatly we havent made progress on the moonhawk since we have other mods we work on and limited time throughout the weekdays.
Okay, too bad, but I understand that you only have so much time and want to work on the mods you enjoy making. Thank you for your quick response, I wish you the best of luck with making whatever mod you enjoy making most. PS: If you ever feel like releasing it as a WIP mod, please do so, because I am sure many people will enjoy it, even if it is still in the same state as in the pictures on page two. But if you don't want to release it, please don't. Only if you feel like it, it is your own work, and you can do anything you like with it.
