Hi, I've recently been having problems with textures when playing BeamNG with stock vehicles. It seems that after playing the interior would glitch, and sometimes, after removing parts, I won't be able to see anything, such as the instrument cluster. So far I've only see this happen on the newer Ibishu Pessima, but I'm unsure if this will affect other cars in the game as well. If at all possible, can you help me fix this? Thanks! ~ThunderBuddy02
It could be caused by some mod that adds something to Pessima or adds new variant of Pessima, have you tested with mods disabled? Part where you describe it happening after some time of playing might indicate issue with GPU overheating, it looks bit of like memory issues with GPU, but don't know if it really is that. You can use this software to see and log temperatures and lot of other stuff on your computer https://www.hwinfo.com/download.php Maybe have logging enabled, play around until you see the issue, then stop logging and attach log here if you don't know what to check from log?
I have also tried it with other vehicles with mods enabled. For example, Bernd's ETK 800 Series expansion pack had 5 interiors working (The Coupe, Sedan, the default Wagon, The Long Wheelbase Sedan, and the Fastback), but the Convertible interior had glitches. This is what it looked like: . I have yet to try out the logging application that you have sent me, but I don't know if it will be accurate since I am using a Windows 10 virtual machine to play. I don't know if you're a connoisseur when it comes to Macs, but would running it via bootcamp on a separate partition help in any way? --- Post updated --- It appears that when I ran the game in Windowed Mode, it didn't do the glitch. Maybe it's a glitch within the program when you start the game in full screen? --- Post updated --- Yet another update, I guess it's just a random glitch that occurs. I opened the game in full screen, and it didn't do the interior problem that I had. It also didn't have anything to do with the mods. Maybe there will be a hot fix some time in the future?
I don't know much about virtual machines, it would be very easy to point blame to virtual machine / drivers in that, but could be still hardware related too. I doubt there is hotfix, this is first time I have seen/heard about such, but of course this might of happened sometime before too, but as long as pure Windows system is not experiencing it, there probably is not too much time spent to issue as game is targeted to Windows. Macs are bit mystery to me, if boot camp is some kind of boot manager and you can run Windows directly from other partition using that, then I guess it should help, but I guess some others might know better about that.
