Hello there! (the angel from my nightmare...)
Props to you if you got that reference.
I decided to make the LeGran into a ute. Why you ask? I have no idea.

I got the idea yesterday when I was messing around in blender, and chopped the rear off @OverPower's LeGran Wagon. I've since chopped the rear off and grafted it onto the front of @synsol's LeGran coupe mod. Obviously, full credit goes to these two awesome creators for the basis of this mod! I have made quite a few edits since the original test, and have decided to finish creating this mod.

This is quite possibly the worst car to be made into a ute. It's an old, crappy, front wheel drive, American car. For some reason though, I really like how the LeGran looks as a ute. XD

So far all I've done is modelling. I have not yet done anything with the jbeam, or textures.

Also, the pictures on this post are likely outdated. Check my latest post for more recent pictures.

What do you think about the body of this car so far? Should I move the rear pillars back a bit, and thus make the bed a bit longer? I'll probably end up doing this anyways, as I think it'll make the car look a lot nicer. :p :)

Ignoring the lack of textures, and the obvious lack of polish, I think I like this rear pillar better than the one I had before.

Did you not read what he said, it's not finished and he's working on the model so there is no texture applied to it yet. Be patient.

Neat! I think it would be pretty cool if you had taillamps that extended the entire width of the car, or at least somewhat onto the tailgates.

The model is about halfway done I'd say. As Kona61 said, I'll add textures after the model is finished. I don't have an expected release on the actual mod, but it'll likely be at least a month.

It looks good, maybe it could be longer from rear (not sure if this is possible though) but still it's worth to waiting. :)

Well, it's a ute, I can get behind that.
    Keep up the good work!
I'd hate to see this dead (like many OTHER utes i've seen on the forums)

Don't worry, I'm still working on it. I haven't been able to the last few days though, as I am away from home, and won't have access to my home computer until Wednesday.
