Been watching this video on Urban Planning. Very interesting watch, would highly recommend. I haven't watched any of the rest of the lets play but this episode is more of a Q&A with an academic.
I can't watch, for me urban stuff is like watching a horror movie and I don't like horror movies at all, I guess people are different, some actually like horror movies too.
Well you could listen to it in another tab. There is pretty much nothing happening on the screen for the interview section. The things discussed apply just as much to low density areas as they do to high density areas.
I really enjoy watching Cities Skylines builds, but have never been able to get into that series. That particular vid was pretty interesting though. Also, this is an interesting watch
For me the voice of the person who runs the channel is too monotone and the results of the city often doesn't look very nice imo. Although I do love all of the 90's futuristic visual effects The guest was pretty much the reason why I watched it though. It was Strictoaster that mentioned it in a video that caused me to watch.
Its been a really nice day here The front mud guard snapped off because this is a quality bike, presumably some mud hit it (it was held onto the frame with a single bolt through the plastic, it was bound to snap off at some point) The small 20" tyres aren't great for off road either. Mostly because every horses hoof marks in the ground present a major obstacle. It doesn't necessarily help that the seat pole and handle bars are constantly self adjusting ever lower while I ride it since the quick releases can't get a strong enough grip on them no matter how tight they are set. On the way back through the forest I lost 1,2 and 3rd gears meaning I only had 4,5 and 6th left. Which made progress a little more painful :/ The new brake pads (clarks elite something or other) that I fitted work great though, previously I was lucky if the bike stopped going down hill, now its actually pretty competent for a bike without disks. Turns out the OnePlus3's panorama function is absolute trash too, I did try to do 360 deg but it bailed on me half way through, not that the ones it finished were any more succesful. Will have to use googles camera from the playstore and utilise its photosphere. But hey, its a bike (just)
Strictoaster & Fluxtrance are probably the two best CS builders. FreshPopCorn was also good until you know, he threw a tantrum. Silvarret aint bad either
So, my local race circuit is Cadwell Park. However, funnily enough they don't have any public transport heading there. Mostly because they are in the middle of absolutely nowhere (because they are in the middle of an "area of outstanding beauty" and as such no one can put anything there) My options (each way) 2 hour bus journey (£13.20) followed by 40min bike ride. 2 hour bus journey (£13.20) followed by £10 uber (not that I would want to use an Uber) 30 min bus journey (£6.60) followed by £25 uber Walk for 7h 53min Cycle for 2h 15min (however I have a folding bike with knobbly tyres that might not make it that far, not a road bike, so multiply that by 2) I can't rent a car because while I have a drivers licence I am only 20 years old, legally you have to be 22 to rent one, they do charge younger people extra beyond 22 years of age. I guess I could buy a car, insure it for a week and flip it... Its literally 24 miles away... I can get to the opposite side of the country for less effort and money than that xD
Two things, Firstly, Sony apparently doesn't care if you don't pay for Playstation plus anymore, seeing as how mine expired two days ago, and I just loaded up Grand Theft Auto and went straight into multiplayer like nothing happened. Secondly, I took a bite of an apple on Monday, decided that the texture what really weird and it tasted nothing like an apple should, so I threw it away. A little while ago I took the trash out and found the aforementioned apple, and it hasn't rotted at all, it's turned slightly yellow around the bite mark, and that's it. I think I bought synthetic apples.
I'm doubtful, I know exactly what a GMO is, I worked for Monsanto for a short while, and know several people who still do, both in smaller operations and in their world headquarters. If this was a GMO, it was made by someone who has no idea what they are doing.
