Hey i'm making a mod (trying to), and its a mod that will make it so u can change the window tint much like one would with a stripe or skin. i been looking into synsol's window tint mod and i believe this should be possible. i can skin but i do not know how to set up the files to make it so u can change the color. thanks for reading and any help is much better then no help (synsol's mod, https://www.beamng.com/resources/tinted-glass-pack.675/) (not sure if its possible but its worth a try!!)
Firstly you need to make sure you have dds plugin for gimp. Then you go into your vehicle files and copy the Windows dds files and rename them Open the dds file and "paint" them in the color you want them to. After that you have to add the new windows to the car so they are a seperate part. Basically use Synsols mod as a template and do it like he did
thanks, i done most of that so far but i mostly made this thread to see if anyone can help me make it so u can use the color selector to change the tint color
