I really want this new update, but I really don't want to risk it being like 3 gigs to download. I won't be able to download it then (metered connection) and I won't be able to play, because how Steam updates games make loads of sense. That last one was sarcasm, in case you didn't get it. Eh.
To make it clear to everyone : February 2nd: tdev posted something in regards to the release "date" saying that it still takes 1-2 months. 1 month and a bit passed already. So as I said earlier. Beginning or middle of April /thread
At 90's, software was released as final and everyone was hoping there will be no updates as it was seen as there being problem in software. These days, everyone is waiting for update, years before software is actually out of alpha state. World, it never stops to amaze me
Part of the confusion here is that was said 1.5 months after 0.8 had been released (12/21/16), so if true 0.9 will have 4 months of work in it, which ain't a bad thing at all.
You can still launch it manually from the folder it's installed in to bypass steams update requirement
Todays Holidays: St. Patrick's Day Doctor-Patient Trust Day National (U.S.) Corned Beef and Cabbage Day National (U.S.) Preschool Teacher Appreciation Day Campfire Girls Day Submarine Day World Sleep Day International Friday OT: Anyway, I feel like they always do great on updates, so I think they will take their time to make sure nothing game-breaking or visually appalling *cough cough* LeGran (Not really but it is a horridly styled car) *cough cough* stays in the game like missing textures. IMO I like the no texture texture here better than in the Source Engine ( )
don't rush em. I want a good stable update I don't want the update rushed. Stop trying to get the devs in a rush.
