i ve been playing beamng since begining. i played all campains and finished them, but this drivers training i cant pass the 3thrd part, whatever i do, the finish checkpoint dissapiers when i got to the end. its nearly impossible to do it. i am an expert driver on beamng but never forced like this before, i try handbrake or just slow down but never make it.. i feel very unhappy, any body having same issue? or any suggestions? why it is so hard? should we be a f1 pilot? or is this need for speed ? why is it like that? it should feel fun when playing, but now i feel depressed
How much FPS are you having? Anything below 20FPS is not enough to play scenario with timers, as your game is not running in real-time.
i really dont know about fps. i am using macbook pro retina 15 inch mid 2012 with i7 processor, i am running windows 10 do you think is that enough?
Open the menu, and go to "Performance", there, you should see your FPS. Note that it will change based on what vehicles you use, how many you use, and what map you're on.
PC != Windows last time I checked. Anyway, Macs are not gaming machines, rather work stations. Don't expect incredible performance in games if you use a Mac.
i totally run windows btw not a trace of mac os x. i work on 3dmax autocad all the time with no performance problems at all. cause i really had enough the design and quality of the pc. but yes windows 10 is a masterpiece for sure!
Mac is just a PC. The game is not supposed to run on MacOS, the operating system. But if you use Windows on a Mac, you can still run the game, if the hardware allows it to run.
I can understand your dismay at many Windows laptops quality. Nowadays high-end Windows laptops have had a bit of an improvement in the quality department. If you're looking for an upgrade in the future I'd among reviewers. consider the HP Spectre (for non gaming) and the Razer Blade/Dell XPS 15. (for gaming) They've gotten very good marks for quality.
kind of the same problem here, but at a steady (limited via game options) 60 fps. Driver's training lv4: Failed/Time limit (last try: 12.4 s is not over the time limit): "You're supposed to be driving at highway speeds, aren't you?" Well, yeah... but how do I get up to "highway speeds" with about 5m or running up? If I am to slow, don't show me a 20s timer counting down... Seriously: I don't get what I'm supposed to do...
