And what custom objects have you modelled and put in game complete with textures? Sure it's a simple cube, but it's at least a start.
Oh that beginner blender tutorial on youtube? I remember that from when I was 13 OT: getting around the tail lights sorted out
A cup. Had nasty ugly rust textures on it Oh no no, I made it without any tutorials. It was a cup in-game. I have no more contributing posts so I should shut up.
Remake? I don't think so, I guess you can do it with simple materials.cs edit. I "fixed" tom999's sunburst skins to work with the widebody kit and I think that same way you could fix the trim. Not sure tho
Looks great, that is where everything starts. Keep it up and ignore any of those dissing your progress, enjoy from being able to create something. as you can make textured cube, you can make all kind of cargo boxes to haul in a pickup for example, it is not much more than making different size of boxes with different textures and adjusting weight of those boxes and you have then already fun mod made for game. From there it is again easy to progress into more complex objects. I really like it when I see people learning new skills and sharing what they have learned. I'm not big fan of little persons dissing others achievements, after all any creation is better than not doing anything and learning is purpose of life, so I really don't get negativity I sometimes see
some more progress on the rim Always great to have something 3D-ish in hand! Hmm, still don't know if i implement the 5 inner hex fake bolts...
Thank you. Edit mode pic?, hmm why not. To be honest, still don't know if i do something wrong, lets see
That's 100% an LS, from early 2000's. Beautiful rear-wheel drive car based on a Jaguar frame. V8 powered. Loved those. Also, you can re-purpose the front-end for a mercury sable of similar vintage. It's similar on the front end (well, it's close, rest of car is different parts but it 'looks' similar).
Actually, it's the other way 'round. It's the S-Type that was built on a Ford-developed platform (the DEW98 platform that debuted in the Lincoln LS).
