Hey, the mod is very well done. I have only one problem with it: It is far too bright. The gamma setting doesnt do anything anymore when the mod is activated. Is there anything I cna do about this? Thank you!
Is there any possible way to add Fresnel car reflections? (Vehicle paint surface appears more reflective when viewed from an angle) This is something that is missing in beaming and it will really improve the look of car reflections!
When I tried this mod, I thought the colors are way too blown out. It makes it look worse in my opinion. However the base game graphics looks like it needs more color. Is it possible to lower the effects of this mod to about 50%? Also I have a request, Is it possible to implement Fresnel shading into BeamNG drive? Fresnel shading is when an surface appears more reflective when viewed from an angle, but less reflective when viewed straight on. Here is an example picture of the effect: The car paint really needs this, otherwise it looks fake. There is no such thing of an object that has the same reflectivity from all angles.
Can't say atm. But feel free to play with the four files you downloaded from this page. Use the values within [ ] in each line of text.
WOW! Those photos look amazing! If it doesn't kill my computer, THANKS! Also, really cool how you made your own rendering engine. Good luck in the future.
Thanks! But it's not a rendering engine, just a post-processing injector. Think of it as a very advanced Instagram filter, or a Photoshop for your game.
Hey I came up with an idea for your next project - I know not many modders care about ideas, but if you could change the render engine in Rigs of Rods, I think that would be amazing. It's a bit different than changing every render frame, but I think it would be a great opportunity to get yourself known.
I'm relatively new to beamng, and I don't know how to extract the things so that the mod will work. Could I have some help please?
Welcome. The instructions are written in the first post. To extract stuff from the ZIP, you simply double-click the ZIP and move the files out (Windows already has a built-in ZIP utility)
Sounds like a good idea but the preset it comes on looks like a horridly worn 1980s newvicon tube camera with out of whack alignment
Hi, i love your mod. I´ve got a problem, when i change the gamma, nothing changes. Is there something wrong with my game? Thanks! *Edit: Sorry, i didn´t remember that you can´t change it with PostFX enabled!
