Hello, have you ever witnessed the moddest Pigeon and thought that it needed more love? Well then join the Pigeon support group! We are a non-for-profit organization that advocates for the Pigeons rights as the Graceful trike it is! Q&A, Q: Why does the Pigeon deserve this? A: For too long the Pigeon has been the whipping boy of Beamng drive world. We plan to show it at least a bit of compassion. Q: What do you have planned in the future? A: One of my Greatest ambitions as the Founder is to allow the Pigeon to receive more Updates and mods by spreading the word of this club. But the greatest ambition I have is to Create a Beamng Drive holiday, on this day called Pigeon Appreciation day, the idea is for people to use the Pigeon More on this day. Q: What can I do to help the cause? A: More simple steps include openly spreading the support of Pigeon related subjects, sharing Pigeon Related mods, and openly celebrating Pigeon Appreciation day! More complex steps include: making mods and making videos for Pigeon Appreciation Day. But mostly the single most important thing is using the Pigeon more, in any way possible! Well, That's all for now, I will talk later if I have the time, in the mean time. Support the Pigeon! -Driver2900
I'm not sure if I'm a full blown member, but you have to respect a 3-wheeled vehicle that can do this: Gfycat Video - Click to Play - Direct Link
The Pigeon is amazing! It is the only vehicle that can repeatedly roll without sustaining damage! The 600CC model can even tow the giant flail or even a dry van! (On a flat surface) Could a Reliant Robin do that? NO! The Pigeon is amazing!
That's just it, all we are trying to do is show how respectable the pigeon is! not just calling it the best car ever.
The pigeon has always been there for me.. When I want to smash something between two semis. For that, I greatly appreciate it's service for the community
The pigeon is a specialized vehicle. Its designed for tight and or city driving. It has a purpose that currently only Small island USA, Port and East Coast USA (base game) have areas where the pigeon has the best advantage over most vehicles.
If the pigeon deserves a day for recognition, then I'm gonna make a botched plastic surgery/just plain melty Pessima appreciation day lol
I wish to join this group, and I like the Pigeon for the following reasons: 1. It's a fun car to drive around short circuits like the Industrial Racetrack, Industrial Rallycross, especially in diesel form. 2. It's the smallest diesel-powered vehicle in the game. 3. It's quite a handsome little truck for something so basic. 4. Its van variant can actually slide around quite well, despite having only 26 horsepower, which means that I can prove to the world that nobody needs 1,500 horsepower to drift a car. 5. The 600cc engine is one stupendous little machine, especially at the price that it's offered at. -It's one of the highest-revving engines put into any production vehicle, able to rev its way to 9,500 RPM. -It's got the highest specific output of any naturally-aspirated standard game-car engine, and the third-highest specific output of any naturally-aspirated production-car engine. Here's the maths: 600cc/1 L = 0.6 L 78/0.6 * 10/10 = 780/6 780/6 = 130 horsepower/L There are two cars in the entire history of production car manufacture that can beat that number: the Porsche 918 Spyder (130.4 hp/L) and the Ferrari 458 Speciale (132.7 hp/L). Those are both modern exotic European supercars, both costing over $300,000 (with the 918 worth nearly a million dollars), and they can BARELY eke out more per liter than a 1980s kei truck from Japan with a wee three-cylinder engine. I'm not even mad if that's not realistic in any way; that's impressive. To be honest, I think that the Pigeon's 600cc engine would be more ideal in a little sports car than a truck. The diesel engine suits the Pigeon far better, in my opinion. 6. It's the cheapest car in the game, with an average price of $1,270. Not even the Bruckell LeGran or Ibishu Covet are as affordable or as much of a bang-for-the-buck fun-to-drive vehicle. 7. It's a sturdy little car, as proven by its victory out at the Bajarama circuit in FailRace's final episode of the first season of "Driven Till Destruction". 8. It's got one of the lowest centers of gravity of any vehicle in the game, with its fiberglass body and steel frame shifting all of that mass down low, just like a sports car. 9. It's a unique experience driving the Pigeon, as it reacts very strongly to any sudden changes, such as bumps and hard cornering, making it a perfect learner's car. 10. Finally, the Pigeon has a unique personality among all of the in-game vehicles, more so than the Hopper and T-Series. It's the lightest, the smallest, the most prone to rolling, and the only three-wheeled vehicle in the game, which makes it stand out among all of the sedans, SUVS, sports cars, and trucks that people usually go for in BeamNG. So, there you have it. 10 reasons why I love the Pigeon so much.
You're right! However, it's a front mid-engined vehicle, not the usual rear mid-engined layout of most super/hyper cars (like the Bolide). However, looking at the Pigeon 600's stats, it seems much more exotic than it actually is, especially at its $1,700 price. -Absurd horsepower/L ratio (130 hp/L) -High-revving powerplant (9.5K RPM redline) -Mid-engine layout -Rear-wheel-drive -Light weight (>550 kg) -Low center of mass -Non-steel body (it's got fiberglass just like a Corvette) -Multi-speed manual transmission (5 speeds certainly is enough for the little car to use) -Limited-slip rear differential All of these would fit a track toy like an Ariel Atom, a Caterham Seven, or a KTM X-Bow much more than a little kei truck from the '80s (except for the rear-wheel-drive and light weight), so that pretty much makes the Pigeon 600 BeamNG's Morgan Trike in reverse.
