Re: HellPig Yes. I'm also thinking about making a version with a chevrolet 572 big block engine, any other ideas maybe?
Re: HellPig nooooo diesel nooooo :-( diesel is terrible :-( smoke too much and have got black fume :-/
Re: HellPig Smoke too much and black fume? So you made two points which are both the same thing Diesels really don't smoke that much, got 2 diesels in my family, neither one gives off any visible fumes from its exhaust.
Re: HellPig I said as am option, and like he said, not all diesels smoke. But it would be a great option one because of torque, crawling etc, something different (it would be only diesel in game that I know about), just cool! Now this is just me but maybe a nice 12 valve Cummins? Also maybe a couple bed options?
Re: HellPig Now that everyone is discussing diesel ill bring my idea back from a few pages ago.. 5.9 cummins.
Re: HellPig I say no for the 5.0 v-8, its so awkward and us Cummins people are concerned why they made that engine. Inline has more torque and stronger, 12 valve Cummins 6bt should be in this build!
Re: HellPig I will consider a inline 6 cummins . New video, some slow offroading and some faster driving. If you don't care for the slow part then skip to 5:55
Re: HellPig Here are the specs from the real truck portrayed in Fast 5 if you want to make it realistic: 80-90 mph top speed Can jump 75 ft with 25 ft of elevation and survive unscathed The motor behind the cab is just a shell of a 502 cu in Chevy the real motor is in the middle of the truck, just beneath the bed it has hydraulic steering Dana 60 front axle (in jump truck, it was different) Dana 70 rear axle with 7.38 gears and Detroit locker will burn rubber for 100 ft on pavement
Re: HellPig I don't think he's going after the Fast 5 truck, there were plenty of these trucks before that movie. He's making it his own and where he takes it is his thing. Just a cool truck doubt he's trying to copy anyone.
Re: HellPig He said it is "loosely based" on the truck in Fast 5. I was just trying to help. Forgot to write this, but the reason for the fake engine is it helps the weight distribution if it's in the middle. When it was behind the cab, it would nose dive off of jumps.
