Hi! So I've been trying to get a model into Beam.NG to use in a track, but for some reason, despite following this:

tutorial to the letter, I still can't collide with my model. Is it outdated, or am I still doing something wrong? If it is outdated, is there a tutorial that's up to date?

That tutorial is very old, but that should still be the correct method.

Can I see your .dae file?

I'm not sure, but I think the model may be too complex to be everything in a single object.

Also, as you do not have a 'ColMesh' (ColMesh should be a simplified version of the visual mesh. Simplified collision model means better performance), you may just want to use the 'Visual Mesh' for collision.

In this case, forget what you saw in the video above.
Export your DAE object as it is, without needing to make any empty groups or alike.
Import ingame, and select 'Visible Mesh' here:

Hmm, I thought I made a colmesh, strange. I'll try what you said though, thank you.

You made, but from what I see it's just a copy of the visual mesh.
If it's the same, you can just avoid that. It will save your .dae from being twice the size.
