Saving process in campaign etc.

    Good evening,

    is it possible to save the progress made in the campaign? Mostly I don't have the time to play long enough to get through the whole campaign and then I have to start from begin again.
    Second, is there any possibility to see the progesses in scnarios? I want to see, which scenarios I already finished and the time I needed for it.

    Saving progress is not possible yet.
    It will probably come at some point, I believe.

    We do not have that yet because that campaign isn't long enough to require it (yet) :)

    Well, sadly I have long working days and mostly not the opportunity to play BeamNG more than 2 hours in a row.

    Do you think, you will implement a save function for the ingame archievements, too? Especially for the new "time trial" mode it would be really nice.

    Btw, are you all germans working there?

    They're a multinational team. Nadeox, for instance, is Italian.

    But I second this. I'd say that there's not really any way forward with the campaign without a save/load feature, as both money and the diverging branch that is the final sequence of 'A Rocky Start' will probably need to carry over to the next campaign chapter.

    It is worth noting that the native read/write capabilities of Lua carry over to the system used by BeamNG. Theoretically, this already makes progress/earnings/local leaderboard saving possible. The only issues are, A. lua doesn't organize the data it saves, so pulling more than one variable from a file is kinda finicky, and B. the lua files can't, to my knowledge, be used to tweak .prefab files on the fly. If the latter is fixed, permanent vehicle selection would become possible.

    Oh, and lastly, Frohe Weihnachten! I know it's a bit late, as it's almost midnight there, but I figured I'd edge that one in.
