I got a battery-operated Bulova tambour clock for Christmas. Bulova B1929 "Annette II". (Just an example photo I grabbed off of Google Images) It's very nice. Has mahogany tambour case, brass bezel, quartz movement which plays just the Westminster Chime on the hour, and not the quarter past, half past, and quarter to. Heck, it doesn't even call out the hour. It has a second hand.
New diecasts and an RC car. 1925 Ford Model T Paddy Wagon - Diecast, 1/24 (LOL, I got the year now-- 1950) VW Beetle, hard top - Diecast, 1/18 And an RC car I forgot the name of.
I got some money. I also got some rgb lighting, a bike lock, 4 rechargeable aa batteries and a charger for them too.
When you get a Christmas gift that requires 16+ GB of software to operate... fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuck...
Reminds of when I attempted to take a swig of vodka from the freezer. ... It tasted like death. Yes, I am a dumbass.
Got a c.1930's office chair to replace the awful wooden dining chair I've had at my desk for six months. I plan on re-reupholstering the seat to get rid of the orange and bum stains. I'm going to try and find red vinyl that matches the back, which is original, but I'm not sure I'll be able to. Any suggestions on another colour if I can't? Also got the replica Indiana Jones hat. My family knows me well
Currently typing this using my dads new steam controller, its a fairly neat bit of kit, but it is going to require a lot of practice to get used to. He doesn't like playing games with a mouse and keyboard, but cant really play world of tanks on an xbox controller. however i can feel myself getting faster at typing as I type more on this so maybe the same is true of games... As for my dad copes with it I guess I will see tomorrow now that it is set up with his computer.
Fucking Comcast you fucking evil money grabbing assholes They introduced their stupid 1TB data cap in my city, on Christmas week of all weeks as well, as it definitely wasn't here last week
Is that for home broadband? or Mobile. I'm assuming it's for home internet, and that's completely absurd.
