Well I wan't in an accident, but extremely close to having one.

    Vehicles invovled:
    -2006 Saturn Vue (me)
    -200? BMW sedan
    -200? Dodge SUV
    -Semi+trailer

So, I'm on my way to get a paper signed at school (I was at a separate learning facility for more advanced things to learn) and every thing was fine for a while. Me being stupid, I'm doing ~55 in a 40 and almost riding the BMW's arse, who was also on the Dodge's arse. Well, the female in the Dodge was on her phone so she almost didn't see that a semi in the turn lane was halfway in the left lane (the lane all 3 of us were in). So she presses the breaks and swerves into the right lane. (Note: the BMW and I couldn't see that the semi was in our lane) Then, I notice that the BMW has pressed the breaks (a little too late because they had tinted lights) so as I slam the breaks the BMW driver decides to swerve into the turn lane right behind the trailer, drive through opposite lanes of traffic, and then get back on the right side of the road all while I skid to a stop, creating a smoke screen across 4 lanes of road. Needless to say I was extremely shook up and was alert the rest of the drive there.

    2. My mom's 1998 Mercedes Benz E320 Wagon vs. a Garbage Truck
    3. My mom was driving about 15mph up a cobblestone road and hit the rear side of a garbage truck that was illegally backing out of an alley
    4. Uphill cobblsetone road on a Spring morning = absolutely no visibility, so my mom hit the doucebag's garbage truck cuz she couldn't see it (which is why you're not allowed to back out of those alleys in the first place) and I remember me getting locked up in the backseat with my seatbelt, and my mom shifted forward a bit. My sister was barely even phased lol.
    5. My mom had a huge bruiser on her leg from hitting the underside of the dashboard, front passenger door wouldnt open, bent frame, destroyed hood, bumper, and a cute little trim piece on the side. Engine was damaged in some way too.

Worst (and only one) was when my mom, was rammed in the rear by a drunk teen. Note, it was an old Mazda MPV, and we were going about 30 while the teen was going about 40 MPH.

I wasn't involved, but I witnessed a deadly accident at 14. I was at my grandparents and they live on a 55 MPH road, and we were pulling into the driveway and the guy ahead of us in a Silverado was obviously drunk (we called it in) and was going about 70. The 16 year old girl that lived 3 houses down was pulling out of her driveway and was hit on the driver's side in her '05 Focus by the guy at 70. She died instantly, we couldn't do anything but wait for the ambulance with her. I remember the Silverado was barely dented, and when the drunk got out my Grandfather (who was in tears, he practically raised the girl) punched the guy and broke his nose.

I was about 12 and my dad had recently bought a brand new Nissan, we where driving home when we T-Boned a 1970 Dodge Charger at an intersection, which flipped onto its roof and nearly hit vehicles in the other lane, and, as for my dads car, it was totalled, caught fire nearly a few seconds afterwards, within less than a minute, the whole car was engulfed in a ball of fire

Iv never really hit any thing before but i was driving my Honda 250 4 wheeler on the road one day. (We had ice and 6-7 inches of snow at the time) and i hit a black ice spot under the snow and the rear end came out and then slid side ways down the road and was very close to flipping into a ditch.(NO this is NOT my exact 4 wheeler but the same color and year)

    Not much for me, really.
Unless you could count the time the bus I was on was rearended by a small Iveco box truck. Diesel went all over the road.
I was pretty much taken off my feet, as I was standing up, but I had a good grip on a pole and managed to stop myself flying backwards :p
Just went in the air and landed on the floor where I was standing.

I wouldn't consider this a crash, but, it's an interesting story nonetheless, I was on a bus going to school one day, and, the driver had offered to help a handicap in a wheelchair on the bus, the handicap freaked out and started cursing the driver, who proceeded to yell back and then they broke out into a fight, in the end, I was late by nearly an hour, as their fight took 6 officers to break up

    • never been in a car accident, or bike accident, or any crash whatsoever, although i am not the most confident behind the wheel, im 14 and driving round my grandads land i just dont see a need to go above 15-20mph, like in london "20's plenty". My sister was involved in a crash when she was about 2 years old, in a Jaguar X-Type (Diesel-Blue) where it was rear ended at high speed (on the exit of the motorway i think, or coming up to one of those roundabouts) where the car hit at 60mph whilst the Jag was at 30mph due to traffic, luckily my Mum kept distance and so the car infront of the Jag didnt get hit.

Got a t-bone once as a passenger. Also got a small bump from behind as a small kid while my mum was waiting at the red light. The former did cause some deformation and the airbags went off, but apart from the shock and the necessity of having to repair the car, nothing really happened.
    Did you get lag?
