Need logs, a blue screen doesn't help. Completely wipe the Documents/BeamNG.Drive/vehicles folder. If problem persists, delete the entire Documents/BeamNG.Drive folder (backup what you want, but do not put back)
Car damage is a little glitchy and some cars break like fiberglass (Ambulance style). Also, the AI controls cause fatal vehicle exceptions. One last thing. The cutscenes in "A Rocky Start" seem to lag even the game runs at full speed normally.
Hi, I have tried all of these options for my game. I own a Logitech g29 no matter what I do whether I unplug the wheel, put game in safe mode, clear cash, uninstall/ re install, I always get fatal vehicle exception error. I have tried everything, any suggestions?
Can't we use the console to damage engine components and fuel values no more? I noticed today stuff like "drivetrain.engine.connectingRodBearings = damaged" no longer works. It worked before.
Press the SUPPORT button in the game launcher. Follow the instructions and press 'Submit Informations. Our 'BeamNG.Support' page should open now. In this page only provide me the 'Support ID' (it's a 4 numbers code). Then you can close the page, there is no need to send a Support Ticket. Clean reinstall. Instructions in the first post. See first post. Did you disable the G27 LEDs option? (Can't understand from your post).
Hey Guys, 0.8.0.0 Is the biggest and the most epic Update i ever seen in the history of Beam NG. I got a big bug, when i want to respawn my car. The game is crashing. almost sent to the support. But still have fun with this game. G4mer EDIT: just unplugged my Logitech G920. The Bug is away. LOL. So my steering wheel g920 produced the bug. :O
Hello everyone. The new update rendered my mods (all 204) useless. After reading this discussion board I have deleted the BeamNG folder in my documents, cleared the cache, and reinstalled the game. However, after loading the game with my mods folder active, the same problem occurred; the LeGran being the only car functioning without a fatal exception. When booting into Safe Mode, everything functioned, and when deactivating all of my mods, all of the vehicles worked properly. Furthermore, I have no external controllers, only a mouse and keyboard. Can anybody help me resolve this? I know this update has been onto a very rocky start. Thanks!
Hello! Please read the first post! This is a known issue and we are investigating currently. While we try to main older mods compatible, that's not always possible. A new update could break the compatibility with older mods. With 204 mods, it's much much harder to find what mods are broken and what not. What you should do is trying them in group. When stuff breaks, one of the latest mod you added is more likely broken. Generally, problems caused by mods shouldn't be reported to us..
Rather than sift through my mods, I think I'll do a fresh reinstall of newer, supported mods to hopefully resolve the fatal vehicle exception. I've never had issues with BeamNG before, and however frustrating it is to essentially "restart" the game, I understand. Thanks for the advice! EDIT: I have created a new mods folder, and installed a few to test their functionality, and everything is working so far. I would recommend all users to do this, as to prevent the fatal vehicle exception error.
