Update Speculation thread

I have the feeling that WCUSA may be one of the biggest stock maps in game, as, judging solely from the current images, there appears to be lots of city, and lots of freeway

 

Can't wait for WCUSA especially since it has a drag strip.. Wahoo

 

Oh, and we get a dump truck upfit

 

I know the update is coming soon, but I really hope it will be today. Tomorrow I'm going away for 10 days and I'll only have my poor laptop with me, so I would be very happy if I could try the new things in somewhat decent quality and framerate this evening

 

The screenshots teasing us are torture every day that goes by

New drivetrain
WCUSA (maybe
Italy (not very likely)

 

The update will probably be released on December 22. The start of the Steam Christmas sale.

 

And in democratic San Jose...

 

Of course lol, why would they have the update after Christmas?

 

Me thinks today would be ideal... I doubt the devs are going to want to spend Holiday worrying about hotfixes... Update today.. post hot-fix if necessary on Friday. ???. Profit.

There's no changes to the homepage?
The updates come from the offices in Bremen, they're UTC+01:00 so it's 5PM. Office hours are 9AM-5PM, so doubt they'll still be at work now.

They've added a dump truck, that operates as a lift, I hope they've changed the flat bed version of the truck so it can do the same and it's easier to drive a car on the back. Hopefully one day we'll get a winch that will put cars on the trucks properly and secure them like in RoR.

I predict mid-end of the week for the update. Wednesday - Friday.

Well it's about 5:40PM ish, there now, and i don't think office hours matter too much to them considering that they often work weekends and late at night.

I'm loooking very much forward to trying the new drivetrain code, it looks awesome.

So, a dump truck. This always happens, the updates have some goodies that are not talked about before the update. What else, maybe a couple new scenarios or "quickplays"? New skins? I'm excited

My guess earliest it'll be out, is tomorrow. Or Thursday latest. Because most people would be taking Friday off, as Christmas is on Saturday.
Earliest tomorrow, latest Thursday.
I mean it can come out on Friday, just isn't likely as they'd like Friday off after worming on a update for months ands its the holidays afterwards.
