While watching all the BeamNG videos, I noticed that all the vehicles are pretty ordinary. I'd find it more exciting if you were crashing something "cooler" like an Enzo or 458 Italia. Obviously you would have to make something similar to those vehicles because of legal reasons...
I guess what Im trying to say is that BeamNG needs some dream cars... and Id rather see them crashed in this engine rather than real life!

and do not think that creating such vehicles there will be time later? so far not finished the engine that matter or how many vehicles have to test if the first thing is to finish the engine ... a time advance in the engine and there will be time to add nice car ...

I think the reason for the bland vehicles so far is that the creators of the game can easily compare it to real crash records. A lot more cheap cars crash than expensive cars. However, I bet expensive cars will make a debut later.

I think I have a good reason too.

If Beamng moddeled a supercar, and attempted to use it show off their great physics engine, the car wouldn't be able to show of the suspension and offroading capabilities. If it was a supercar, beamng would be treated more like a racing game and thus be compared to all the racing games, instead of being treated as a great physics engine which is what it is.

I personally think "crappy" cars are a lot more fun to romp around in and crash into things with. But I'd love to do some kind of 80s/early 90s supercar at some point.

Same. It just seems more fun to crash normal, ordinary cars then Lamborghinis.

But a couple 180 MPH cars would still be fun to crash at full speed.

I totally agree. I don't find it fun to go out and wreck a supercar, but I've never had more fun in my life wrecking ol' beaters. Who wouldn't want to go around and wreck an old piece of junk?

If you're looking for a cool 70's/80's style car, I have an idea. It would be cool to have a car with a front similar to a Ferrari 308 (concealed lights and aerodynamic styling), the width and doors of a DMC Delorean or Bricklin SV-1, and a back like the Lamborghini Espada. These are some of my FAVORITE cars of the period. They would look amazing combined into a single car. Plus, you could give it a fair amount of speed (not like 200mph, something more realistic like 130 or 140). It would be fun to race around and smash at higher speeds :D.

If it's going to be a wedge-nosed sort of car then it would probably suit round steel 'mini bumpers' below the lights like this Pantera.

I love crashing crap cars. Like the pigeon is just funny getting crushed by a huge ball. A ferrari would just kinda ruin it. I think ricers or JDM, ratrod sorta things would be cool to crash too.

You just bumped a two year old thread with a useless post about a car you've made a suggestion thread for. You can stop posting too.

Not the shit he's talking about. Unless he means the engines themselves.
