Being a drifter and JDM lover, I have some ideas to put towards this 200BX. I would recoment a new style of rear tail lights, at the moment it looks much older then it should be. Also, a smaller back window (Where the rear seats should be). Right now the back window seams very thick. Also Since it is a "JDM" vehicle I think the stearing wheel should be on the right side of the car.

Trust me, no BeamNG cars will be forgotten. Or am I wrong Gabester?

I certainly hope not. I absolutely LOVE the 200BX. In my opinion, it's one of Gabester's most creative models. I didn't think they would implement any cars with pop-up headlights (my cousin had a 240SX, so I've grown fond of pop-up lights). He proved me wrong. It has so much potential for customization. I don't think he's forgotten about it though. He's probably busy with other stuff right now.

Oh joy a Japanese "sports" coupe.
I hope its like all the real 80's sports coupes, heavy, slow, over-engineered and with plenty of bolt on go-fast bits available.

Actually I believe this is based on the Nissan 240SX which was built in the 90s.

I respectfully disagree with your view on Japanese tuners. I think Japanese cars have well-built engines that output tons of horsepower for being as small as they are and they handle beautifully. Better than an American muscle car that uses the same chassis as a late 1800s buggy. As for the go-fast bolt on bits, I actually agree....

"the 240SX is a sports car that was introduced to the North American market by Nissan in 1988 for the following model year"
quote from wikipedia. 1989 is in the 80's, the 240sx is a 80's car. also, the american ford mustang svo of 1984 had a 205hp 2.3L I4 option.

As much as I love muscle cars and as much as I would have a Dodge Charger over any Japanese car ever built(yes, including a GTR(well, I guess I'd take a GTR just so I could sell it and buy a Charger and something else!)), you gotta admit, muscle cars aren't very high tech... A lot of American cars used the same rear suspension setup(leafsprings on a solid rear axle) until long after the rest of the world had figured out that independent rear suspension can give you a lot better handling... That said, I do believe one of the newer muscle/sports cars(most of which look fugly imho) beat a GTR around the Nurburgring.... but I can't recall if that also had a solid rear axle(probably not).

Imo there's no better sound than an American V8 from a 50's, 60's or 70's car. They just sound(and look) so brutal. Couldn't care less if they don't handle well stock.

That said, I do love the 240SX, some Silvias and I'm pretty excited to see how this car will handle in BeamNG. It seems slightly shorter or wider than a 240SX/Silvia though?

I assume he meant the car, not the game considering he already has the "DRIVE" tags

Leafsprings are master-race. Thanks to them, we have 70's-rific car chases where the ass end of the car breaks traction at every corner, loses hubcaps, and plows through conveniently placed cardboard boxes. Joking aside, muscle cars aren't really meant to handle. They're stoplight to stoplight type deals.
