    Usually, yeah.

I also think one should be added to the Hopper. It would fit in with the Japanese origin of the car, what with the Japanese technological advancements and all.

The question is the Hopper is based on such a American patriotic vehicle(as gabester himself said it's basically a Wrangler), but named as a Japanese car. Wrangler's exterior design was sort-of based on WW2 Willys Jeep. I'm not American myself but this doesn't sound quite right...
Anyway, you guys are the people who make BNG after all, and you guys have rights to not listen to the community

The Toyota FJ40 was also based on the original Jeep, and it's Japanese, so...

is there any chance of getting this vehicle to have an option for leaf spring suspension? the truck this is based off of had leaf springs from 1941 to 1996.

since you guys added the leaf sprung solid front axle to the d15, i've kept that on all my offroad builds. coils just don't ride the same for me. they don't get the same bounce.

another question: will this truck have anti-sway bars as a removable part? owning one very similar, i can attest that the ride characteristics change greatly with the removal of anti sway measures.

one last question: i noticed the windshield is on hinges. can the supports holding the window frame break, so the windshield can fold down?

Coil springs only. The sway bars are removable. Without them, it has a ton of flex, but it also flips very easily :D

Yes, the windshield can fold down. You have to remove the roof, the bars attaching the windshield to the roll bar, and then you can remove the windshield latch (it's a separate part, just containing the beams that hold it in place), and it'll fall forwards onto the hood.

    Engine options will include a 2.5L I4 and a 4.0L I6.
It will make use of many of the new drivetrain features we're working on, such as ranges and locking differentials.

That is from the original post from Gabester

this is saddening, but i appreciate the quick response. changing the suspension to leaf springs would probably require extensive restructuring of the frame, depending on how it's been modeled. i can still hope it comes eventually, as the d15 solid front axle has.

will there be a way to latch the windshield in the folded down position? i believe newer jeeps still come with the required parts to do this.

either way, i'm going to enjoy driving this easily flippable truck! thank you for all the work you've put into it.

    I6? I6? WHERES MY V8?
    --- Post updated ---
That's logical, seeing as this is a dedicated off-roader car, where you would need to see your tilt and slope.

None of the vehicle that this truck is based off of came with the option of a factory V8 except the Defender, to which this vehicle shares the least resemblance (in my mind).

Go buy a muscle car or a pickup truck, that's where your V8 is hiding.

    What?
    upload_2016-12-4_14-46-12.jpeg <Basically what a Hopper is. upload_2016-12-4_14-47-1.jpeg <Pickup Truck.

They have almost nothing in common. "Technically" the Hopper is a small SUV, NOT a pickup truck.
