Logitec G27 and Steam In-Home Streaming Issues.

So I have a laptop that I have set up with my T.V in which I am taking advantage on the Steam In-Home Streaming while having my desktop doing the work upstairs. Now I have tested that controlling the game from the laptop keyboard and using and xbox controller do work to play BeamNG.drive. I have noticed that plugging my Logitec G27 into the laptop to play the game does not work. Just wont detect the hardware. I have both the G27 drivers installed on both computers. Is this a technical limitation or is there a work around?

 

I think it's an technical limitation with the laptop. You could always buy a steam link, they are excellent and always work with any controller. It's for 19.99 USD.

 

After some more googling, it turns out that Steam does not have the support for it.

 

Correct. Steam streaming does not support most wheels. Theres one or 2 older ones for xbox 360 that are supported through xinput compatibility, but they are pretty poor wheels/
