Local multiplayer

I was wondering if u guys are ever gonna add splitscreen to multiseat it would be alot my easy and enjoyable thanks for your time.

 

In 2015 this was said about it by a dev,

And if you look here under "The future" here

it states "Online leaderboards/multiplayer"
Now that statement is only a maybe, and i do not know if it includes split screen, but i thought it was worth mentioning.
That blog post is worth reading is you want to know what the devs have planned for the future.
