I have legit seen so many little kids get onto this website. Every time a huge YouTuber does a video on this game, it attracts little kids, jacksepticeye, markiplier, pewdiepie, which are channels that do attract little kids due to their popularity. Kids, most likely under the age of 13, get onto this website and suggest really stupid things. Such as "omg we need airbags", "omg we need people", when yet, all these things are unlikely to happen. We need to keep BeamNG alive, its not how it was when I joined in May 2015. We need to keep this forum mature, not full of little kids who have no idea what their doing. The modding community is dying out, all the good players are leaving, now a new generation of people are coming to the forum, little kids. We need to change this!

So what can one do about this? Do you expect the kids to be like "Oh he's right, I better log off and never log in again." ? No, that's not going to happen. You're just going to have to accept that this forum is always going to be like this.

I see what you mean, random. I do not know how we will solve this issue but I guess we will have to adapt.

oh please.. not the 100th "this forum has turned to shit" post.
obviously youtubers will attract kids but beamng needs to be as popular as possible to finance the development.
a nice mature forum would be great but if the game had not become popular it would probably still miss half of the features it has now.

guys i got this sick new idea. every time a popular youtuber posts a video about the game, the "sign up" button dissapears for about 3 days, to a month. (depending on who the youtuber is/how immature his fanbase is) eventually the youtuber will play some other new game, and his fans will move on and stop caring! simple as that!

That wouldn't work at all for the people who didn't come from a popular channel but want to sign up.

I agree, so many little kids see videos from you tubers who play the game, and some don't even understand what it is the game is trying to do, some think 'wow, another GTA clone, why no people' or suggest stuff that has either been suggested before and denied or stuff already in the game....

Great members are dying off and in their place are 6 year olds who think that every car should be faster and have a automatic drift button or people or airbags or stuff that won't happen

What? It's pure genius, now, no new kids, or anyone, could sign up for the forums, that means no more children signing up, no more noobs bumping threads.....
And eventually, all us forum members will die off and no one will be able to spam the forums....

You see, with no new members, we will essentially be the only ones left! Like being stranded on an island, we will all slowly go away or die off, then there will be no one.....

Oh, now I see the problem.....
There would be no one left.....
    --- Post updated ---
But, what about people who aren't immature....

Again I say the same thing that I already said in a similar thread to this earlier. Complaining won't help with anything else than put down a lot of negativity on the forum unless you have an solution. I'd get it if someone would make a complain thread without an solution just to bring the topic some attention but the topic has already gotten enough attention from the other 100 threads.

I also find it annoying how the majority of people making these threads aren't actually "modders" or people who actively contribute and help out the community. It's fine if you are one of those people such as Dummiesman or Ghost187 who are actually modders that have been around for a long time and help people, otherwise what are you complaining about. Are you scared because the people that create the s*** you like to use are disappearing and you won't have any new mods? Wtf. If you want something, learn to do it yourself bit by bit. I don't want to give you a massive story but i only started actual mod making a couple months ago and already know the process of jbeaming, basic modelling, making aero and lightweight panels, engine torque curves and transmission stuff as well as suspension and porting meshes and parts between vehicles.
Its not hard if you tale the time to learn, i am only 16

    Have a lovely day

I think it's time I throw in my two cents on this subject.

To be honest, I don't think that stuff like this will come to a complete stop. I believe that every forum is going to have a few kinks in it. It can be maintained, but in some cases, it won't be easy.

Besides, I wouldn't be surprised if there are forums out there that are in worse shape than this one. We're probably lucky when compared to some others.

@MisterKenneth it is a forum that is in a worse shape than this one. When i was actively on there, it was filled with so many little kids because of the attention it gathered from the first horizon game. Just like this forum they all liked to make wishlist thread for tracks and cars.

Ouch. And to me, Forza looks like a really interesting game too, especially with its massive diversity of cars. I mean, just go to some of the IGCD Forza pages. Some of them have around 10 pages. How could you not be satisfied with a number like that? Of course, some of the cars are listed as downloadable content, but still, that's a lot.

I think there's nothing wrong with wishlists, but there may come a time where a person would just be beating a dead horse. And I think I'd be pretty satisfied with the huge number of cars Forza has to offer, especially since it has a few favorite classics of mine, like the 1967 Chevrolet Chevelle and the 1958 Plymouth Fury, two cars I'd be super excited to see come BeamNG's way, as either a mod, or something Gabester came up with that was inspired by them.

Dude, no matter what we do there will always be a kid that we either cannot track down or there just too many kids to ban. This forum is not perfect, in fact no forum is. So if you want to ban all the kids, you can't. We either cannot track them down because there are so many kids. And the problem isn't just kids, it is newbs who have no computer experience, no rules of online etiquette, and spamming the mods section with their mods which contain no originality whatsoever.
