There is many, many great sounds of engines, so building this Top 5 was a bit hard task.


I'll start with this, a BMW inline-4 F1-engine in Brabham BT52 from 1983 (driven hard, so that's properly, right ?):




Next one is a collection of fabolous IndyCars from the good ol' days:




This next one is very rare Citroën GS, with rotary wankel motor, called BiRotor. And it sounds so funny:




Here's also one very funny sounding engine, revs like beehive, but goes nowhere. Saab 96, 2-stroke, inline-3. This need two videos:






And finally, this is also a truly ashtounding engine sound, the mighty italian mad scientist device, Lancia Delta S4 with it's wonderful sounding super and turbocharged inline4-engine:

I thought I would add this quad rotor in because it is the most eargasmic sound EVER recorded!
