I had the same issue. I had to remove this mod: http://www.beamng.com/threads/beamng-ultimate-mod.29181/ and it helped
@Trupoller Quoting my post, and someone else saying that it doesn't work, without telling me else doesn't say anything at all. Honestly, if it doesn't work, reinstall the whole game, take out your whole mods folder, and put them in manually one by one, Trial and Error. I had to do this when removing KOS's Ultimate Mod wasn't it, seriously, I can't do anything else to help you at this point. 1. Delete cache again, if that doesn't work, go into your mods folder and type "van" in the search bar up top, that Hopefully will pull up all the mods that have anything having to deal with the van, materials, parts, Anything. 2. Trial and Error, go through all the mods with the word "van" in search bar, remove all of them, or remove one by one, checking every time by going into the game and spawning the van itself. If it helps, here's a short list of the mods that have been updated recently, and therefore wouldn't cause any issues, check again and re-download them if you're not sure, or else check the "Last Modified" dates. Javielucho's Mad Mod Variety Mod DJPlopper's Config Pack Bluebird School Bus 3. Re-Install, I wouldn't do this, unless this is the last resort, again, spend time to go through all of your mods to see if there is any outdated materials. I have 372 mods installed, again I spent 2-3 hours doing this, but if all above doesn't work, uninstall, and reinstall, But make sure to save any screenshots, vehicle configs, mods, anything or else it'll be all gone. I won't take any responsibility for this, and Again, Do Not Do this unless you HAVE to. That's all I can seriously help, if for whatever reasons it still doesn't work, then I'm sorry, I don't know then.
You don't need to use all caps. Are you sure you tried everything? I find it hard to believe that none of the above solutions helped, especially a clean install of the game.
Then create another folder outside of BeamNG and move all your mods in there before re-installing the game.
and its defanty not the ga fine ill try --- Post updated --- ill find another way to fix it because i can guarentee its not the game
Regarding the van's lights; last update moved the van light textures out of the 'van' to the 'common' directory. A mod different than the van which needs the van lights textures need a materials file defining the location of those textures. Because the location is changed, those mods are broken. This mod already used the 'van' directory the van textures will be automatically be loaded so I don't need to define the texture location. The files in the common directory are always being loaded independent of the choses vehicle, but if a mod has defined that the location is still in the van directory this location will be cached and will cause problems in mods regardless if the materials file is correct. This also means that if you clear the cache and first load the van, those other mods should work as well. tldr; The van lights texture bug can't be caused by this mod, but at least these two of my mods can cause the bug: - small trailer add-on - T-series add-on I'm working on both, but as there are more parts outdated I'll fix those as well before a release. And as I'm a bit short on time it can take some time before a release.
I'm not sure what the cause of the fire was; I first replaced every jbeam sections of the original van v8 to the classic engine to rule out the error which somehow didn't make any difference, but now that I've used the orignal v8 jbeam and replaced every section with the classic engine jbeam sections the issue seems to be solved...
I don't think AR162B specifically stated this in his post about the light textures for the van, but if clearing your cache doesn't work because you are using the semi addon mod or the trailer pack mod, going into the "common" zip file AR162B mentioned and copying all of the van_lights files into the games "van" folder should also fix the issue. At least it did for me!
