This is bugging me more than it should... When you try to select maps or cars it takes so long to process your mouse's information, even if you don't have any maps loaded (menu)...

Thanks in advance for your reply!

Even ingame, the UI is so slow in indicating the RPMs and speed that the UI appears to skip numbers.

I can confirm it happens on my toaster oven on Low graphics.

UI is limited at 20FPS for technical reasons.
It's not exactly blazing fast, but it compensate with plenty of control/customization.
We are still working on it so don't consider it done.

Yeah but you guys never addressed the other performance issues myself and a few others posted in the feedback threads. 20hz ui limit I understand but come on, it wasnt an fps issue I had, it was a case of click a button and literally 30 seconds later for a response. I'm not even exaggerating here, pretty sure I uploaded a video. Deleting the navigation app from UI helped but even so, it takes 2 seconds minimum for the UI to respond for me, by which point you've processed 40 UI updates. 40. It's one of the main driving factors that reduced my interest in playing the game as often, your UI is completely and utterly unusable.

The game used to run one vehicle fine. Then the new ui was added. UI accounts for so much cpu load in a cpu intensive game that boom. Game causes my CPU to sit at 80%load with one D15. Just one. Why. Ui thread alone consumed 30%cpu on a 3.4ghz triple core. I tried beamng on an atom tablet as a laugh. Ui thread consumed 25%cpu and took 15 seconds to respond, 25%being nicely on the point where oh look one thread has maxed one core in this quad core processor. The UI has issues. Major ones. And it shouldn't. A full browser is using less cpu than the beamui and that makes no sense at all

We cannot reproduce these issues really. :(
It runs pretty well for 99% of the users it seems, but we cannot figure out what happens like in cases with your computer.

It happens for me too... From times to times I just get tired of waiting, so I close the game. :(

For me, it's inconsistent. Sometimes, the UI responds instantly, and sometime is takes 10 seconds to load.

For me the UI starts to respond slowly the more cars I spawn. 1 car = no delay, 2 cars = small delay, 3 cars = bigger delay, 4 cars = ~2 sec delay, 5+ cars = 5+ sec delay.

Well I've just upgraded from the Athlon II X3 460 to an i7-2600K a work colleague gave me. Ui far more responsive and game overall far more enjoyable (I couldn't exceed 30fps on low settings with a gtx1070 before, thanks cpu bottlenecking both game performance and directx draw calling). So seems very much a case of low end cpu =bad times for UI
