I have had an old Xbox 360 controller since the dawn of 360s that I've been using exclusively to play PC games, never owned a 360.

My camera in BeamNG keeps creeping as if I'm pressing right thumbstick to the left, just a little, except it's not my controller. I just bought a brand new controller and tried it, it's still doing the same! I borrowed a friend's controller, which worked fine on his PC and with the same game. Perfectly fine. I bought yet another controller, same problem. I even tried not using the controller. Camera still creeps. I rebound all the keys, camera creeps. I'm at my wits' end.

The problem started -- just the tiniest bit -- 2 updates ago, but I didn't mind because it was the VERY tiniest bit of creep, like a radian per 60 secs or so. Now it's a radian per 5 secs.

The twitching in the video is me hitting the camera reset on the keyboard (NUMPAD 5) like a spaz. If I just leave it, the camera will slowly creep all the way around and around. Makes a decent screensaver...

Also, it sometimes stops doing its thing and just let's me be, such as at the end of the video. No rhyme or reason, but resetting the car briefly seems to help.

Increase the deadzone in settings. Xbox controllers in particular are really really bad for thumbsticks not centering properly even on a brand new unused controller

Interesting. I had the same problem with my ps4 controller. The camera always slowly creeped to the left but it would stop if I tilted it a bit right before centering it. I didn't mention it because i always thought it was because of it being well used. Might still be the case. Does ps4 controllers also have the issue?

Also @VarietyPack you didn't even link us a video.

Strange... I'm using a PS3 controller with a 5% dead zone (I think, it might be lower) and I'm not getting any creeping.
And you have a PS4 controller. What program are you using to use it ingame? SCP, DS3, or something else?
The title to this thread is so weird. At first I thought its was about a creep with a camera watching you. XD

Yep, adjust the deadzone like 6677 said. I have a brand new Xbox One controller which does this as well, though not as bad.

Any gamepad will do this though I find ps4 controllers are the least susceptible
