Will I Get good performance with this new gpu?

I'm looking into getting an RX 470 4gb and I was told it runs very well. Will the game be at good performance with this?

 

Yes, of course
However, do keep in mind that the game is also CPU heavy, it doesn't depend only on the GPU. Something like an i3 6100 or faster will run the game just fine.

 

I'm not sure how the prices compare in your country but here in the UK the 470 was only marginally cheaper than the 1060 that I bought. For the extra £20 it seemed to be worth it for the extra performance. It runs BeamNG at 45 fps at maximum settings (everything on). Obviously if the 470 is considerably cheaper then it probably would be the better deal.

 

What CPU do you have? Intel, AMD?

Your cpu is very meh. For Beamng you would probably want to invest in a processor that has better single-core-performance (Your looking for a recent quad core from Intel which has skylake). I'm afraid that your chipset will bottleneck a 1060, or a 470 for that matter. But the answer is yes, a 470 is more than sufficient to run the game smoothly.

 

It will work but it's definitely not the best for running BeamNG.
