Smooth transition when switching vehicles

It would be cool if there could be a smooth camera transition so that when we tab between vehicles, the transition is smooth, just like how we change camera views on one vehicle.

 

Cool idea, but wouldn't the camera fly through things to get there?

 

It could be programmed to fly around things if needed.

 

Or it could be like gta's player changing thing. Zoom out move, then zoom in.

 

I want it to fly between things. I cant stand cameras that snaps to a certain object or in a certain direction
