After some time of thinking about what can be done to minimize the space that UI apps take up without lessening function, it came to my mind that we could implement a new option, besides the "no cockpit" one. The basic idea is that the app will expand once it detects the mouse input hovering over itself and collapse when not. It should be a check able option, as not every app would benefit. The app that would probably benefit most due to its size and popularity would be the AI app. Even simpler, a basic opacity setting with two values - mouse hover opacity during its "on" and "off" states should be another check able option. One or the other could be used, or even both, based on the users' taste.
Because they like the idea but don't have anything to contribute to the the thread via text other than "I like it".
That's one of the greatest ideas I've read here. I'd be happy with something that's expandable with a simple mouse click already.
Maybe for the engine debug graphs, a expand/collapse option for each variable would be nice. For example we could make it only show how much gas we have in the tank.
