I just got the Alpha :D However I have encountered an immediate problem and that is that as soon as I start on a map the camera spazzes around and rotates around the vehicle really fast and I cannot stop it, its not my mouse, I have tried removing it but still the problems persits, I have also tried as much as I can to stop this but have found nothing. Also the slowmotion doesn't work (as far as I can tell).

Please help as I can do nothing except watch it spaz around the place! :(
    Thank you.

Run the updater.exe inside the BeamNG folder. It may fix any broken files. Do you have any game pad plugged in? I'd try unplugging any.

IIRC The first debug screen (SHIFT+F1) shows the fps, but I've found it not to be accurate.
I'd recommend downloading MSI Afterburner to both check the FPS and GPU usage.

Wow, not accurate, yeah it says 720 fps! It just really slowly despite me having i7 proccesor, nvidia geforce and 8gb ram. When I open up ther task manager it says that its running the game with ease! But the game just runs really slowly :(

Hello. ok MAJOR BREACKTHROUGH when I 'snap the game to the side' like i drag the window to appear on one half of the screen the performance is very good! what is going on???

    - - - Updated - - -

Right ok, the smaller I make the window the faster the game runs, does this mean something?

It means you have a slow graphics card.
Decrease the graphics quality in the options dialog.

720 Fps is the simulation speed, not the graphical frame rate AFAIK.

I've tested my nvidia card and its performance is very good, it can run battlefield 3 on ultra settings and kerbal space program, minecraft and flight simulator X at MAX settings! The game also doesn't run well at all on the integrated (thats to be expected) but shows that there's no fault with it.

    CTRL+F for FPS.

You can't compare this game to any other. What works on a AAA optimised game might not work here... Apples and oranges

Load the empty grid map, do you get any lagg there? What's the FPS?
Load the stock testing grid map, same there, Lagg and FPS?

Now load a slightly more intensive map like Industrial or small island, what do you get while looking at the scenery vs looking at the sky?

Please post the full specifications on the pc (not only the "i7 and nvidia card).
    Processor: (like i7 2600k)
    Graphics card: (like Geforce 760m)
    Harddrive (HDD or SSD?)

    Intel i7-3632QM Quad-core 2.2-3.2GHz
Nvidia GeForce 710m with 2GB Dedicated VRAM and Nvidia Optimus
    8GB DDR3 RAM
    1000GB HDD
    Windows 8 x64
computer is new TOTAL RUNTIME has only been 50 Hours :D

Game: (game is definitely running on the nvidia card)

    ON NORMAL GRAPHICS

'Grid pure' map, 14-17 fps Game runs nice and smooth :)
'Grid map' map, 12-13 fps Game runs slowly with noticable lag :(
'Industrail site' map, 7-8 fps Game runs very slowly with heavy lag. Noticable performance increase when looking at the sky. 14-15 fps :)
'Dry rock island' map 6-7 fps Game runs poop with extreme lag

hope this is useful data, really appreciate help with this :)

Yeah, your graphics card is kinda poop. The good thing is you have one, and therefore is likely upgradeable. Look up your model laptop, and see if you can get a better graphics card.

First I would uninstall it and reinstall, and if you can't finger out how to get a refund, contact Gabester or tdev, they will give you a refund, once you tell them your story and all. Hope it helps.;)

Maybe, probably not. There's a reason this page exists. That 710M falls under the "minimum" category. Don't expect to run this game at maximum settings on what amounts to a slightly above average PC. However, there is no reason that the 710m can't run this game at all when my HD Graphics 4000 can run it at minimum settings with 20 fps on Small Island.

TL;DR Suck it up and lower your settings. And make sure to turn off the PostFX system by unchecking "Enable PostFX System" in the left hand options window. Or buy a new PC/upgrade your existing one.

Hm, that's a really crappy GPU.
I recommend you return your laptop if you still can since newer games will barely run on that GPU.

Also, there's no way you're playing BF3 at Ultra unless it's at 640x480 and you consider 5fps to be playable.
