Old Beamng drive?

Hey, I was wandering how I could get an old version of beamng to play around in?

 

the only other version that you can get is the unsupported dx9 version in steam. right click game > properties > betas> select beta from drop down.

 

will that replace my current beamng?

 

I have the 0.3 version from the really old days, if there was a good reason i could upload it.

 

I believe it will. You have two options, 1) install it to a different location or 2)Rename the current beamng folder to something like beamng.drive7 in teh steam directory.

Just install the DX9 version that's already been mentioned. You don't need a PM for that.

 

But it's gonna replace my current beamng. I dont want to replace it.

Wait, what update was the latest DX9 again?

 

I think it was 0.4. In the pic it says version 4 is DX9

 

Where do I install it? (without it deleting my new beamng)

 

Ok, move the 0.7 version to somewhere else (Like the desktop. The file path for the game is C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\BeamNG.drive.) Move the whole folder.

Then opt in to the beta and install. Done

When you want the old one. move the one from the desktop back into the C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\BeamNG.drive folder.
